Hello, my name is Amanda and this is my first attempt at blogging. I am open minded, curious, honest and a bit of an overanalyzer. I believe in positive thinking, good listeners, and loyalty. I adore the world of books, fashion, and the creative. I want this blog to be filled with fashion, books, and anything that inspires or amuses me. I have also challenged myself to read and review 24 books this year, so stay tuned to see how I do. I am always excited to meet new people and hear new ideas and perspectives so feel free to email me at gaspariamanda@hotmail.com!

Stories you read when you’re the right age never quite leave you. You may forget who wrote them or what the story was called. Sometimes you’ll forget precisely what happened, but if a story touches you it will stay with you, haunting the places in your mind that you rarely ever visit.

The bible says a lot of things - and whether you believe in its words or not - selective portions of it shouldn’t be used to manipulate the government into oppressing ANYONE

RELEVANT TO FSU RIGHT NOW.

Relevant to any time anyone props up the Bible — particularly Exodus — as an excuse for hate and ignorance.

Kids ain’t supposed to be grateful. They’re supposed to eat your food and break your heart, you selfish dick. You died, and I was still so afraid I’d turn into you I never even had kids of my own. Well, as fate would have it, I adopted two boys. And they grew up great. They grew up heroes.

I don’t believe an accident of birth makes people sisters or brothers. It makes them siblings, gives them mutuality of parentage. Sisterhood and brotherhood is a condition people have to work at.
