We watched this last night, it was my first Woody Allen film. I had fun watching it but I don’t know if I would watch it again. I loved Diane Keaton but Woody Allen drove me nuts. It was fun to see the Ralph Lauren wardrobe and the fun little things Allen put into the film.
2) The Brief Wonderous Life of Oscar Wao - Junot...
So here comes my second book review of 2010. This is not a book that I would have picked up on my own but it was the book club book for January. This is a story about Oscar who is described as “a sweet but disastrously overweight ghetto nerd, a New Jersey romantic who dreams of becoming the Dominican J.R.R. Tolkien and, most of all, of finding love.” Despite the fact that this is a...

So we are penciled in at the Greek club for Aug 13th 2011!!!! We just need to sit down with the priest to book the church and then we can make it official so excited.
I have been doing some number crunching and we seem to be on our way when it comes to savings which is such a relief.
2010 challenge
I want to challenge myself to read and review 2 books each month. I have just started writing reviews and I want to get better at. I figure the only way to improve is to practice so 24 reviews here I come. My first one was done earlier this week of My Sisters Keeper and I should have another one done by early next week. Feel free to check them out and give me any constructive feedback.

1) My Sisters Keeper - Jodi Picoult
I started and finished Jodi Picoults My Sisters Keeper last night and I have to admit the tears flowed especially during the scenes with Anna and her dad. This book was both moving and interesting. I stayed up until 1 am to finish it because I just had to know what happened. It explores some big issues about how cancer and other life threatening disease...

Children Speak for Same-Sex Marriage:
littlemiss:
LAST month, advocates and opponents of same-sex marriage packed the New Jersey State House in Trenton, supporters in blue, opponents in red. Near the end of the day, Kasey Nicholson-McFadden took the microphone. “It doesn’t bother me to tell kids my parents are gay,” he said in a clear voice. “It does bother me to say they aren’t married. It makes me feel that our family is less than...
So tried another new recipie, salmon with black bean salad. It turned out great. I also had a bowl of vegetable soup that my dad made. I am nice and satisfied and everything was delicious. I am loving this cooking thing. I have always been a foodie but I always enjoyed other people cooking for me or going out to eat. Now that I have been trying to cut back the budget I am cooking at home and it is...
At work right now trying to keep a positive and upbeat attitude! yay!! lol
Right back on the eating well track. Saturday was a bit dicey as we did Sushi which always includes spring rolls and noodles and such and then went to friends place where there was cool ranch Doritos’s(my fav) and mozza sticks.
But Sunday and Monday have been right on. I tried another new recipie for chick pea soup...
Back to the real world today after the weekend and being in Punta Cana. Also back to my weight watchers. I was pretty good while I was away and I stayed at the same weight. This week I’m back on the eating great and trying new recipes. I made a chickpea soup yesterday so we will see how that turns out. I have sooo many assignments due in the next couple of weeks. Only 21 days until reading...
